If you’re in Barcaldine Friday night – whether you’ve road-tripped in or just rolled into town – the first night is a good one. It’s a progressive affair with a bit of Barcy charm. $65 per person for dinner + cash bar. Payable at the racecourse.
5:00 pm – Shakespeare Hotel Kick off with a few drinks and catch-ups.
6:30 pm – Tree of Knowledge Wander across the road (keep an eye out for those road trains!) to admire the legendary Tree of Knowledge.
Then – Bus to the Racecourse BBQ dinner sponsored by Mort & Co and cooked up by none other than our local Mayor, Robbie Chandler.
